Love my littles...

Shortly after Adley was born I wanted to get pictures of all the kids to give to the Grandparents for Christmas. Well after paying more than he wanted (anything is more than he wants to spend!!! Love you babe!) to have pictures of Adley's birth, I didn't dare ask (even though I am sure he would have indulged me because he's wonderful like that!) So I had a an idea to have my sister in law Stormy take pictures of the kids. I knew she had a pretty nice camera and liked to take pictures as a hobby. Plus I knew my Mom didn't have any and wanted some of my darling niece A. So I talked her into going out one day to try our hand at getting a decent picture of the littles. It was HARD work (so glad I am not a photographer!) and they didn't exactly turn out how I pictured in my head but it was nap time and getting cold and there were 5 kids... so not sure what I was expecting! I wanted to post them but had to wait until after Christmas so i wouldn't spoil it for my parents. Are my little just beautiful? p.s.  We are getting pictures taken in the spring when I am nice a skinny again and it's warm. I am already scheming in my mind what I want and outfits I am SO SO SO excited... my lovely friend Mindy is going to take them. She's amazing, you should check her out!

My smallest little has THE best smile ever... it makes my heart melt every single time and she does it A LOT!

Looks like such a grown up little girl here, makes my heart kind of ache.

My snuggliest little yet... I hope he never grows out of it!

My Kaely-welly bug is getting so big it makes my heart hurt... He's so handsome!

I never knew my heart could hold so much love in it!

Before I forget...

a couple of things I need to remember...

Kael broke his Elbow a week ago on Sunday night. He and Brady were participating in the Stair Jump event in the Muir Olympics! He decided to go for 8 stairs and it proved to be a mistake... He told me later " Grandpa only said I might break my leg, he never said anything about my arm!" I didn't take him in until Tuesday night because it's not a bad break (turns out) and he wasn't complaining much I just noticed he wasn't using his arm AT ALL and figured it should have improved a little by then. Turns out he broke it at the bottom of his humurous and is considered his elbow. Thankfully it's not bad enough for surgery. They gave him a soft splint/cast and we have to go back today to meet with the Orthopedic Surgeoun to see if he thinks it needs a hard cast.

Oakley is our spicy little muchkin who has been saying the funniest things lately... for future teasing purposes such as at her wedding I don't want to forget what she said to me the other day.... right after she toots...
O- Hey guess what?
Me- What sis?
O- My bum just burped! HAHA (she thought it was hilarious)
Guess we need a little work on our being a lady lessons!

I am sure I miss out on recording SO much that they say and do.. I need to try harder to do better.

my fella...

Bottem right pic- first picture we ever took together and probably one of my favorites we have together, Black and White pics were our engagement pictures, and the other one was right before we got engaged.

This was 11 years ago... seems like yesterday and like it's been 100 years all at the same time. We recently took a HUGE leap of faith as Jonny decided to quit his part time job. For the past 16 months he has been working at night and has been away from the kids and I for most of that time. It's been kinda miserable for all of us, and we were falling behind in some areas of our lives that we feel are more important. So we are taking a large leap of faith and putting our trust in the Lord that he'll provide what we need!

I am grateful for this handsome fella of mine. He is my person and it's been HEAVEN having him home again. I forgot how much I have fun with him doing absolutely nothing! Our 11 yr anniversary is coming up next saturday and I am excited about it. Like I said it seems like yesterday and that we've been together forever already all at the same time. We've been through lots of good and bad things together but all in all have come to this point stronger than ever before. So glad I was able to steal his heart and make him mine. I can't wait to see how the next 75 years- Eternity go... looking forward to lots of fun and laughs.

It's not all hard...

I saw this on pinterest and it made me laugh, but don't think it's entirely true. Parenting is HARD, probably the hardest thing I have ever had to do in my life. When it took SO long for me to get pregnant for the first time, I never imagined how hard it is and on SO many levels. But at the same time I also find it the BEST job in the world. Any my co-worker is pretty hot I'd have to say! What other job lets you work with these darling littles and have all this fun for work...

Santa thought they'd all been pretty good! I took the three kids while my MIL held Adley but then I felt bad that she didn't have a picture with the Jolly guy so I waited in line for forever with her to get a picture.
Sorry crappy phone picture at night but I love her crazy hair!
Who wouldn't love an Adley sandwich!
Our Christmas Forrest instead of Gingerbread, it's going to be a tradition it was so much easier than houses and I didn't have to glue anything together! The kids loved it. Brady's technique was genius he said to me I'll put one M&M on the tree and then eat one!
After Sandy Hook, getting up a million times in the night isn't as bad as I used to think. I don't get as frustrated when three of the four climb into bed with us and the baby wakes up because one of them insists on talking to us at 3am..

Our spiciest one of the bunch, she knows how to try my patience more than anyone else but that's ok I'm learning to be cool with it (or pretending I am cool with it)
This smarty pants is picking up on reading so well! I love that he loves to learn.
See told you my coworker was HOT!
Simon says touch your knees...
Our traditional making Reindeer dust so they can find our house and some delicious  carrot and apple popsicles for Rudolph and his pals, while they wait for the Big man.

Being a parent is HARD and not always fun as you can see!

But I wouldn't change it for anything in the entire world!

xoxo,
Whit

Counting my blessings..

As the horrific news of the elementary school shooting is everywhere today I am reminded how precious my children are to me. So tonight we followed through with one of our family Christmas traditions. Making reindeer dust so they find our house and reindeer popsicles for them to much on while the Jolly man is visiting. I enjoyed it more tonight more than ever before. We are going to watch Home Alone now as I snuggle my babies a little longer tonight.
