Less Hermity...

Thankfully I am starting to come out of hermit mode. I haven't really done anything fun or picture worthy with the kids (Kael asked me one day when I was going to be a fun mom and do stuff with them again, it made me sad) and some of our family pictures we had taken that I still need to print.   So here is a update on all the munchkins including Squishy as he/she is affectionately called.

Kaely-welly bug:
Loves school and is doing exceptionally well (a Mama can brag right!), his teacher said he is very kind hearted and treats everyone very well at school. He has been such a good helper to me on days that I haven't been able to do much. He is always willing to get Brady or Oakley a snack or something when they need it without hardly any complaining. He is working extra hard to earn quarters for souvenirs at Disneyland this summer. He has his phone number memorized. And is starting to try and spell words, he always asks for us to give him hard ones even though he can't do them just quite yet. He loves to draw and do anything crafty and is very attentive to details. The kid won't stop growing or eating! He wants the baby to be a brother so bad so that we can name it Jackson like Percy Jackson! (one of his favorite shows right now) He's full of questions about the baby, how can the dr see it, how will it come out, how is it growing in the water balloon etc. He's the funniest, cutest, most adorable 5 yr old I know and my most favorite Kaely-welly-bug in the whole entire world!

Brader-nader-potater:
He is a smart little whipper snapper! He's become even more independent that I ever could have imagined but at the same time is so lovely dovey. He's always tell me how much he loves more or how I am the best mom ever (wish it were true!) He is still OBSESSED with spiderman and tells me about his dreams all the time how he is spiderman and saves the day. He knows all his ABC's and is learning to recognize his numbers now. He is an early riser and is up most days by 7am. He still loves peanut butter but we are slowly ( I use that word lightly) starting to branch out to at least trying new foods. Only because Santa told him he needed to try new foods. I love how enthusiastic he gets about life and things he enjoys. He adds something to our family no other one can! He is my favorite Brady boy ever!

Miss Sassy Pants:
Boy is that an understatement. She is a firecracker and lets everyone know it! She has her mind made up and doesn't back down. She can hold her own pretty well with her brothers but most of the time just adores them and is glad to play what they are playing. (when they let her!) She LOVES to eat and will eat literally ANYTHING. So nice after having the boys be so picky. She would eat non-stop too if I let her. She loves her babies and we are starting to accumulate quite the collection. She is an excellent napper and goes to bed so well. It has made my life much easier on days that I have felt horrible. She is friendly with everyone and loves to say hi to all who pass her way!

Squishy:
I get to find out next week what squishy is! My dr tried to look the other day when I was there and baby was just laying face down at the bottom of my uterus. Not cooperative at all! I have started to feel baby move more which is always the fun part of pregnancy at least for a while. I am 17 wks today. I will post pictures next week as soon as we know what baby is. I have names that I like for either so I am not very worried. I will be just happy with either!

Hope your all well and have a great day! xoxo

The Hermit...

I have been a little hermitish (not sure it's a real word but it's by blog I can say what I want!) lately and feel bad I have neglected lots but I do have a good excuse this time I promise... here is why...

We were super surprised but SO very excited! Kael insists its a brother and his name is Jackson. I guess we'll see?! I figure end of March, first of April we will find out what baby is. Until then I know it's bad to wish time away but I can not wait to be further along and able to function at a better level! My body is feeling a little old! I have a TON of pictures to post and share but don't have time right now. I need to drag myself off the couch and get ready to go run some errands.

2012 here we come...

I haven't uploaded pictures from Christmas yet so I'll have to post those later. Christmas was very good to us this year. Kael exclaimed to all of us Christmas morning "This is the BEST CHRISTMAS EVER!"  I agree buddy! The kids were super fun and it was all very magical for them. Jon had to work Christmas eve which wasn't very fun but we managed to have fun anyway. We made sure to sprinkle out our Reindeer dust and left Reindeer Popsicles for Rudolph and his buddies. We left cookies and milk and Thank You cards for the Jolly guy! The kids spoiled me with a new tv (Jonny is a cheater by the way!) and it was so nice to spend both days with family.

Jon has been working A LOT lately but it's been good for us financially. We are going to try really hard this year to accomplish some goals that will require a new level of dedication but I think we can do it! Jonny is as always the best Daddy and Husby a family could ask for! He is in YM Stake presidency a calling he was surprised to get but loves it so far.

I am still babysitting and feel like a widow many nights but can't really find much to complain about! I have lots of goals set for this year and am determined to stick with them! YW is keeping me very busy but it's nice to be needed sometimes right!?

Kael is loving school and learning lots. He is starting to put letters together and got TRON for Christmas so every picture he draws is TRON related! He loves to draw and color... he's getting pretty good at it too! He is looking forward to playing t-ball this summer. He is really into doing Karate which usually ends up in someone getting hurt or in trouble for being to wild! Good thing he has a wild little brother to go along with his scheming.

Brady is all about super heroes right now. He refuses to take of his spidarman jammies and most days I don't really care but when we have to go somewhere it's ususally a fight to get them off! He even wanted to wear them to church today. He adores Oakley and is usually very sweet to her. I have really enjoyed the times when Kael and Kjeldy are in school because I usually put Oakley and Hanssen down for naps and Brady gets a few hours of time with just Mama.

Oakley is now almost 14 months and still as spunky as ever! She knows how to take care of herself already and doesn't put up with much from her brothers! (Thats good right!) I am trying desperately to ween her but she is fighting it to the bitter end! She has the sweetest smile and has started to try and say more words. She jabbers to us like we know exactly what she is saying to us. She loves her Daddy and gets SO excited whenever he gets home from work.

We are looking forward to all the wonderful things that await us in 2012! We have lots of this coming that we are excited about! I'll try to post pictures this week.

Munchkinisms

Brady and Kael talking to one another...

Kael: I am going to give my monies to Dad so he doesn't have to work so hard (a total of like 27 cents!)
Brady: So does that me you are a man now Kael? That is what mans do, they give their monies away.

Kael to me:
Mom our next baby is going to be a baby boy and his name will be Jackson so I can call him Percy Jackson. He's super cool!

Best Gift Ever is....

Date of the Month Club... I really need to take pictures so you can see how cute this ended up because just telling you will not make it seem nearly as cool as it is! It's on tomorrows to do list!

How did I get so lucky?

So I have a friend Mindy who volunteered to take our family pictures for practice. I had been wanting to get some done. Aside from the fact that it was FREEZING and we have three small children to try and get to look and smile all at the same time I think they turned out good!

Kael wouldn't give us a "normal" smile! He kept pretending to be Lightening McQueen saying "KaChow!"

Brady did not want his picture taken but we managed to get him to smile for a few!

 This picture is SO Kael!

My dear friend Amber's mom owns this house that we are at. The house is stunning and she always has the cutest porch. I think it worked out for a really good place to go at the last minute!

 Giving Dada lovies!

 Eww Gross!! :)

Can you believe that in a few weeks we will have been married for 10 WHOLE YEARS!

Enough said...
