I know this is shocking but no one have a heart attack ok...

I know your thinking is she on something two posts in a week.... what's wrong with her but YES I am posting again. I decided to actually dust of my camera and take some pictures of my own and thought I'd share...
We had a night where Jonny didnt have much to do so we thought we'd do something fun with the boys Jonny wanted games and Kael wanted to make cookies so we thought we'd throw caution to the wind and do BOTH!
I'd love to eat him right up!

He was very serious about playing.

Who could resist a "CHEEESE" like that!

mmmm. chocolate. enough said

I think it's clear we had fun...Kael had the most fun with the games and Brady had the most fun eating the mini chocolate chips and knocking over the Jenga tower while we were still trying to play! Later on after bathtime we decided to play Kael's absolute favorite thing TRAINS. The kid LOVES them I'm not just talking a fun collection he's in LOVE with trains, has episode memorized and gets rather involved and imaginative when he's playing. See for your self!

Sorry about the red eye's I'm to lazy to fix them tonight! It's a hoot to watch him just play trains it's like he creates a whole new world for himself, he is always right at eye level with them, making himself a part of that world. He's so funny and has an awesome imagination I am so grateful for that! Brady and Kael are in love with guns also thanks to Uncle Nato! My mom gave Kael a cowboy get up for christmas and Brady has discovered it!

So there you have it... hope you enjoyed all the pictures of my darn stinkin cute boys! Night!

Everyday should be Mother's Day!

Being a mother is the greatest thing I've ever been blessed to do. But I know I have a long ways to go, I'm learning daily things that I need to do better but thanks to countless wonderful examples that I have I hope to one day be able to some how measure up to them.  Here are some of them who I admire and adore...
My own Mother, she's been a constant in my life. I've always known she loves me and her love of her Savior Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father astound me.

Cass- She's not technically a mother yet but someday! I know she'll be the best mom, so much fun, and she'll raise her children with a good solid foundation of who they are and their potential. She's a great Auntie to my boys! Beep Beep Zoom sissy!

My Grandmother- couldn't have asked for a better example of what a mother should look like. She's a terrific mother who would do anything for her children or grandchildren. She's has created a wonderful legacy for herself.

My mother in law- a true example of what a "believer" is. She never speaks a harsh word about anyone and is so willing to give where needed. She raised a wonderful son who's been a great dad and husband. I think that speaks volumes about his mother!

My Grandmother Viola- She recently passed away and was 93 (I think!) I feel like I didn't know her well enough but she always made if extremely clear when I was around her how she felt about the gospel and her Savior Jesus Christ. She always told us to keep the commandments. I just had a quote that my mom always told us kids she used to say put into vinyl for my kitchen wall I love that I feel like a little part of her is still with me! ..." It's a great life if you don't weaken. Viola Mae"

My aunt Colette- She adopted Jon and I when we moved back to Vernal and we've been having weekly FHE at her house with her and Mark for eight years now. She's loved my boys and taken care of us like we were her own. I know how much she loves her own girls. Like the rest of my aunts she's like a second mother to me, I know that they'll be there for me whenever and wherever!
ok so she's not like a mother to me more of a sister! She's really my cousin but someone who I adore beyond words. We've had many many talks, and gripe sessions and laughs about being mothers ourselves. I love that we have that much more in common and I can talk to her and tell her how I really feel without thinking that she'll think I'm a crazy lady or ridiculous for feeling that way. I can call her after a long day and cry about all the dumb things that happened that I know I'm being childish about but she lets me do it and then laughs about it the
next day with me. I love you Kristen!
I hope that one day my children will say this about me...
All that I am, or hope to be, I owe to my angel mother.

Here's for you Denise :P ....

I'm been really horrible at updating my blog...mainly because I have nothing fun to share. My parents were here this weekend and all the cute pictures of my boys are on their cameras (note to self..get way better at taking pictures!) so until I can get copies words will have to do. I've been sick, that's all there really is to say about me. Lots of puking, and lots of avoiding anything that makes me puke more! I'll have to have Jon take a picture but I am already in maternity clothes and have a rather big bump already (at least it feels that way!) We find out what we're having I don't know when but I imagine 6-8 weeks. My Dr usually has had me have my big ultrasound until I'm about 20 weeks and he'll only guess if he's really positive he's right. I might have to recruit my friend Shauna who's an ultrasound tech to just do one for me before that. We'll see, I'm really anxious to find out what we're having but don't really have a preference. My cousin Kristen just had her baby and I can't wait to snuggle her but she is the darn cutest thing ever. So a girl might be lots of fun! Although it seems like I always have opposite of what everyone else is having! Jon's been a stinker (it's true honey!) about talking about names. I'm sure he gets sick of me always talking about it even when I'm not pregnant but I think it's just in a girls nature. Really what girl didn't have a big old list started when she was in 6th grade on the inside of her journal?! So I just talk about it and he just listens for now anyway! I told him that if he didn't give me some feed back I'd just name the baby whatever I wanted to! The boys don't really have a clue or at least get whats going on. I was talking to Kael about it the other day and we were talking about my bigger belly and that a baby was growing inside. I told him when the baby gets bigger then it would come out and we could hold it. He said to me like I was an idiot..."Mom babies are little not bigger!"

Kind of a lame update...sorry...have a great day!

Girls outings, unsuccessful potty training, and outings!

Kristin, Me, Harry Potter, and McKay

Nicky, Grandma, Bridgette, Emily

Harry Potter aka. Benson

We decided that the girl cousins (at least the ones that live here) needed a afternoon out with Grandma. We decided to go to Pizza hut since we'd have the little ones with us. It was fun spending time visiting with each other and letting the kids play! It took FOREVER to get our food and after many mistakes we finally got to eat, but all in all I had a fun afternoon with some of my favorite people in the world! p.s we were so privledged to get to eat our lunch with Harry Potter! How cute is he?!

We've been attempting potty training, and have been very unsuccessful I think that he should be ready and acts ready in a lot of ways but we just can't get the hang of it. I'm trying really hard not to get frustrated because I don't want him to think it's something I get all mad and upset about. That would make it harder right?! But after the dreaded hospital incident I've decided to start pushing a little harder, I suppose I need to push even harder than I do...maybe once summer comes?! We even have Charlie the Train sitting on the towel rack waiting to be played with! Wish me luck!

The weather here is finally starting to warm up but back in late february we all had cabin fever one saturday so we decided to jump in the car and take a drive. We went up to the Big Dam and walked around, and we drove over to the River. It was cold and windy but nice to take a drive and spend a day together!

Jon- is staying busy with work, it's gone really well and the Lord has been extremely good to us this year! I feel very blessed to have a husband who works so hard for his family! He's the ward finance clerk and is good to help out with the house and kids as usual!

Kael- He's in love with trains still and has taken up the art of "fighting" (thanks to learning Kung Fu from Kung Fu Panda) he's always trying to fight Brady. He's a good big brother and for the most part is good to include his little side kick. They sure can make a mess between the two of them. He watches Thomas too much apparently...  he's started talking like him. I hear phrases daily such as " Oh that's splendid"   or " I wish.... this or that.." He loves reading and playing with his toys. He's still an awesome napper and is my big helper when he doesn't have important deliveries for his trains to make. He told me the other day that I'd have to wait because he had a special special for Percy and Gordon to deliver. I can't believe he's so big!

Brady- He's a little shadow to Kael. He's VERY independent, he know exactly what and when he wants something. His favorite thing to tell me is "NO YOU" and he's quite sassy. Such a stinker sometimes but he gives the absolutely best slobber smooches right on the kisser and loves to snuggle. If I'm sitting on the floor without fail he'll come right over and plop down in my lap and just sit with me. He's good at saying sorry even when it's not necessary. He loves books, and Mickey Mouse, Little Einsteins and Ponyo. He's busy but such an adorable little guy kinda makes it really hard to be upset with him!

Me- Nothing super duper to report with me. I'm still babysitting, it's been good to have friends for the boys to play with, but harder since I've been really sick. They are really easy boys for me but it's hard to just decide I want to nap when it's not just your own kids. Summer will be fun I hope and kind of a break! I'm the activity day leader with my friend Jaysle in our ward. It's a fun calling and I've enjoyed working with the girls. It's kinda like a young young women's!

All in all things are going well for us. We planted grass in our front yard so we'll see if it grows! I'm sure the boys would like something other than dirt to play in! I'm excited for Camping season to come...I'd like to go alot more this year but we'll see if my pregnant body agrees with that!

Until next time...

Highschool memories...

I copied my friend Denise's blog I thought it was fun to read about! I can't believe it's been 10 years!

1. Did you date someone from your high school?: I did date people from highschool, but I also dated alot of boys from other high schools. I didn't date anyone steadily. One of the favorite boys I dated (if you can call it date more like hung out with super good friend is now my brother, he married my sister!) he took me to prom my senior year. One of my favorite danced I went to!

2. What kind of car did you drive?: 88 Rusty colored Ford Tempo it was the best. The seat belts were the kind that automatically came over your shoulder when you shut the door and they would get caught every inch so it took like 30 seconds for you seat belt to be on, and it would shake terribly (like you were in an earthquake) if you drove over 45 until you hit about 60 and if you drove over 70. I guess it kept me from speeding to fast right! The stereo had a short so you never knew when it would turn on or how loud it was going to be.

3. What is your most embarrassing moment in high school?: Being kissed in front of the school at the homecoming game senior year (the kiss wasn't embarrasing it's just I had no clue it was coming!)  or Jennie announcing to everyone in the commons that I hadn't been asked to a dance and who wanted to take me. (Still didn't get a date! )

4. Were you a party animal?: No I went to a few, didn't drink, but always ended up leaving early. I dated some party animals though...

5. Were you considered a flirt? ummm. maybe.

6. Were you in band, orchestra, or choir?: I was in Choir my sophmore and Junior year.

7. Were you a nerd?: I thought so...

8. Were you on any varsity teams?: Nope

9. Did you get suspended/expelled? : Nope

10. Can you still sing the fight song? : Never knew it to begin with!

11. Who were your favorite teachers?: Mr. Walker, Coach Bearnson

12. Where did you sit during lunch?: Usually went out and grabbed something or in the commons

13. School Mascot?:
Lancer, does anyone know who played the guy in the assemblies, that always seemed so top secret!

14. Did you go to homecoming and with who?:  I went to homecoming my Junior year with Alden Moon, and didn't get asked to my school my senior year. I went to Murray High school homecoming with Brandon Murray.

15. If you could go back and do it again, would you?: Maybe for a day or two. I overall enjoyed highschool at least my senior year. I kinda hated it my sophmore and junior year!

16. What do you remember most about graduation?: It was SO long, we went to eat at Outback Steakhouse after with my family, and then stayed up all night long at the senior party at the high school.
One of my two best friends in high school Denise at the Grad Party!

Look how little Nathan is...

17. Where did you go senior skip day?: Wasn't everyday skip day!!!

18. Have you gained weight since then?: yes I have unfortunatly but what can a girl expect when she's had a couple of kids!

19. Who was your prom date?: No date sophmore year, Abe Behunin  my junior year, Logan Newby my Junior year in Florida and Hyrum Rappleye my senior, Chris Kirkham Northridge HS my senior year. I think that's all!

20. Are you planning on going to your 10 year reunion?: Yeah...

21. Looking back, what advice would you give yourself?: Get better grades!

22. What are your favorite memories from highschool?: Stomps, dating, skipping class (you should not do that!), Football games, giving boys from other schools we didn't know fake names, Doug and Emmy's, Sills Cafe, FRIENDS!

my other best friend Cassie and I on a camping trip!
